Story is an important facet in any modern game, but recently, releases like Beyond: Two Souls have suggested the apple has fallen a little far from the tree. That is exactly why Shin Megami Tensei IV is so fresh, because it emphasizes hardcore gameplay while simultaneously telling a formidable tale. The core of the experience is bent on fusing, battling and customizing your demons, making for both a deep and strategic playthrough. In short, if you have a 3DS, you need this game.

CCC Says: "Last week was a fairly slow news week given the holiday and all, you may have heard of it--it's called Thanksgiving, which meant that the cavalcade of Persona-related announcements captivated the Internet's attention. The problem is, most of the glory went to the long awaited Persona 5, the numbered installment in Atlus' spin-off that surpassed the original. (Look up Shin Megami Tensei sometime. Shin Megami Tensei IV should still be on sale.) When really, the attention should have been going to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth."

Aticle by Devon W.
While a relatively new arrival to the highly successful Shin
Megami Tensei: Persona franchise, I have found few other games as entertaining and as unique as these on the Sony systems. Atlus - originally Atlus Co., Ltd. - is a Japanese computer and video game developer, publisher and distribution company based in Tokyo. The very first Megami Tensei was a Nintendo Entertainment System video game published by Namco based on a trilogy of novels, but after the second game, Atlus formed to publish the series for the Sony PlayStation. However, in recent news, it would seem Atlus is once again branching out into the Nintendo market, as you will see below.
